Narratives of Pride: Reflecting on Stonewall

Teens are invited to take part in this special writing workshop as part of Pride 2019. Participants will visit Stonewall 50, an exhibition that commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots. Afterwards, they will take part in a Writopia writing workshop, led by a Writopia instructor, where they will create their own writing and art that reflects on the 50 years since the dawn of the LGBTQ liberation movement, and on their own place within the continuing legacy of the LGBTQ community’s struggle and pride.
