Join New-York Historical Society’s Curator of Decorative Arts, Debra Schmidt Bach, for a special preview of the upcoming In Remembrance: Hair & Jewelry exhibition and a panel discussion about the history and contemporary uses of hair in jewelry. Panelists will include Robert McCracken Peck, Curator of Art and Artifacts and Senior Fellow at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, and Melanie Bilenker, an American artist whose work is inspired by Victorian hair jewelry.
